Comment(s): The Suffolk County Night Fishing Permit provides access for night fishing at Suffolk County Park Department fishing locations during the night hours (10PM to 6AM). Permits are valid at the following locations: Smith Point, Shinnecock East, Charles F. Altenkirch, Orient Point County Park, Cupsogue, Shinnecock Canal, Cordwood Landing, Lake Ronkonkoma, and Montauk County Park.Night Fishing Permit must be displayed in the windshield of your vehicle in the parking lot. Fisherman must be actively fishing. Overnight stays are not permitted. This permit does not provide access to outer beach locations.
